Help my six year old boy wont stop sucking the pacifier at night?

It will not be pleasant because you have allowed this to go on far too long, but you have to tell him that he can no longer use it to sleep with and then throw it out. I am surprised he doesn't have buck teeth by now. He will have a hard time falling asleep and be fussy but you have to just ride it out. Habits take about 3 weeks to break. Be firm.
