How can you become an actress?

I know this might be frustrating. I love acting and singing too. But you have no idea how lucky you are, because you live in California. You are so close to your dream and you have no idea! All you need is some practice. Exposure is a main key. Get out there! Be seen by people. Try out for a talent show or find your community theater. Start small and work your way up. I know you don't want to wait;you just want to start and be out there :) I know how that is. But patience is something you will need. Also build up a resume. Where all your experience and work is shown. I have so far only asked one question on this sight about my resume, and if you want to see it you can check it out. If you have a good resume you might want head shots. Google how you can make your acting resume. And for your parents, let them know how series this is to you. You have to show them that this is your dream, that nothing will bring you down, that you won't give up. Most parents are just afraid that if there kids become a actress then we will turn out to be a generation of a bunch of Brittany Spears & Paris Hilitons :) Just remember don't give up. I know how it feels when your parents don't support you. Keep trying no matter what. Remember get EXPOSURE! Be seen. You will make it!
