How do you deal with a parent who is a bigot?

My dad is 74 years old and has always been prejudice against people who are not white... as well as gays/s and women to a point. It is not that he necessarily dislikes people of color but he automatically umes the worst of non-whites. I have tried pointing out the hazards of stereotyping but it hasn't helped. I try to just accept his closed mind since he doesn't seem to be able to change but it drives me crazy sometimes! Any suggestions?
