My boyfriend and I had a horrible arguement, what now?

My boyfriend and I had a terrible arguement last night of large proportions. We have never really had a fight in the 5 months of dating. It all started becasue I had misunderstood something he had said and I told him I was leaving. He accussed my actions of being childish and thus the arguement got worse. I was on the couch with crocodile tears and he told me I was not staying the night and that he would talk to me on Sunday. Not wanting to walk out angry I did not want to leave until we finished our conversation. This whole debate went on for about 30 minutes. I'm totally devestated about how everything went. The two of us love each other and this is not us. I tried calling him today (I know I shouldn't have) and he did not want to talk and he said he would talk to me on Sunday. What do I do? Is this over? Just a few days ago he gave me a key to the place and he told me that for the first time in 32 years he has a soul mate. Please advise?
